SM Madeiras operates in forest-based activity, forest harvest management practices through reduced impact, until the change in lumber, processed and SM faqueadas patterns.

The raw material of forest native to the northwestern portion of Mato Grosso, is managed in an area of ​​65,000 hectares of its own farms in the municipalities of Aripuanã and Colniza. The areas producing wood logs are authorized by the competent bodies, founded on the principles social, environmental and economic development, pursued by a team of employees from our company.

In our forest exploitation techniques applied in accordance with the criteria established by the Secretary of State for the Environment and IBAMA in Mato Grosso, as well as practices that cause the least harm in the activity of the sample and the remaining forest. Planned, the forest management practices are to ensure the sustainability of the forest, maintaining biodiversity in the massive forest, wildlife, water quality and air.

To raise environmental awareness and the need to care for the environment, we have a nursery that through partnership with the City and the Union of Small Rural Products, was produced more than 500,000 tree seedlings donated to recover degraded areas, implementation of systems agroforestry and educational purposes in schools in the city.
